Cardi B has split from husband Offset, the "Up" rapper has confirmed.
The "Bongos" rapper revealed the breakup in a recent Instagram Live, saying she has been "single for a minute."
"When it comes (to) today's events, I don't think it's true, I don't care to find out, because I been single for a minute now," she said in a clip of the Live that has made the rounds on social media.
The "WAP" rapper seemed to be responding to cheating rumors. Offset responded to the accusations as well on X, formerly Twitter, replying to fellow rapper Blueface's claim that the Migos member slept with his ex, Chrisean Rock.
"I ain't never talk or touch that lady. Real talk man you need some help!" he wrote.
Cardi B admitted to fans that she has struggled with previously announcing the split from the Migos member.
"I just don't know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been a sign," she said. "The last time I got on Live I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn't know how to tell you, so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now."
The announcement comes days after fans noticed Cardi B and Offset, both 31, unfollowed each other on Instagram, as well as a vague post on her Instagram Stories about how people can "out grow (sic) relationships."
"I wanna start 2024, like, fresh, open," she continued in the Live. "I don't know. I'm curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I'm excited."
USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Cardi B and Offset for comment.
The former couple were both in Arizona over the weekend for the TikTok in the Mix music event. Cardi B co-headlined the social media platform's sold-out event, while Offset made a surprise appearance.
Cardi and Offset have been married since 2017. The on-again-off-again couple first split in 2018, following the birth of their 5-year-old daughter Kulture. In 2020, the "Hustlers" actor filed for divorce from her "Jealousy" collaborator.
"I'm OK. I want to let y'all know I have not shed not one tear," Cardi B said on Instagram Live at the time after thanking everyone for sending her well-wishes.
She said usually when the media gets wind of the "crazy" things Offset has done, she ends up crying. But this time was different because her divorce wasn't because of anything that happened in the past.
"It's not because of cheating," Cardi B said. "I just got tired of (expletive) arguing, I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it's just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on I'd rather just leave."
The couple later reconciled, welcoming their 2-year-old son Wave in 2021.
Offset has three older children from previous relationships: sons Jordan, 13, and Kody, 8, and daughter Kalea, 8.
